Lu Steam Developer Guide & FAQ
Common questions and answers about the game.
What are the numbers at the end of the game?
The numbers shown in the pause menu and at the end relate to collectible or scene-based scoring. Different playthroughs yield different totals (e.g. 144, 216, 17735, 31168). They reflect progress through certain scenes; values can vary if you miss content in a run.
Does the game have multiple endings?
Yes. Lu - Steam Developer has multiple endings, including different outcomes (e.g. good ending, bad ending, and variations like the "stuck in maze" ending). Exploration and choices affect the result.
Can I stream or record the game?
Yes. Streaming is permitted without prior permission, for both individuals and organizations.
Is mouse sensitivity configurable?
The developer has lowered the default mouse sensitivity based on player feedback. Fine-grained in-game sensitivity steps are not available, but the base sensitivity is reduced from earlier versions.
The game flickers or doesn't run well on my PC. What can I do?
Update your graphics drivers and ensure you're on Windows (the only supported platform). Run the game from a path without special characters and try running as administrator. If issues persist, a future update may address your setup.
Could not find bakinplayer.exe / Missing bakinplayer.exe — how do I fix it?
The game may depend on a specific runtime or an incomplete extract. Redownload the game from the official download page, ensure your antivirus did not quarantine any files, and extract to a simple folder path (no special characters). Use the latest build from the official source.
